Hey, Kids!
The past few weeks have been grueling. Hard work, emotional ups and downs... y'know, life. After one particularly brutal day of work (don't get me wrong, I really enjoy my job these days, great people, fun work, it's just physically demanding some weeks), I came home exhausted and found a curious letter from Portugal... yeah, Portugal!
enVide neFelibata's Drawing Board is a blog I've been following with interest for a very long time. He is an endlessly prolific artist with a long list of fascinating projects. Carving puppets from wood and foam, etchings, set pieces, and line drawings. Non-stop!
One of his current projects is POCKETART.YZONK.COM, in which he takes artwork, cuts it into sections, adds a qr code (or scanny thingy, as I call it) and mails those sections out all over. I am very fortunate and honored to have received 1/7th of this etching.
Thank you, enVide, for including me in your project. It's a beautiful idea to show artwork and bring creative people to a shared experience.
Cool...! I'm glad you've enjoyed it. There's the need to improve the lamination process though.
